Managed to squeeze in a partial wax job as I'm racing the sun. Snuck the nose and back end of the GB in the garage to hit the hood, front end, tailgate and rear bumper, and then hit the driver's side before I lost out to the sun. I usually alternate between Mother's Synthetic and Carnuba. I've found the Synthetic a little harder to remove and not quite as glossy, but it lasts much longer. The Carnuba gives that nice shine. So my mild OCD got the best of me and I tried an experiment. 2 coats. 1st coat with Synthetic for the durability and second coat with Carnuna for the appearance. Time will tell.

Hoping to hit roof and passenger side later today when the sun angle allows.

Oh and I applied Rain-X to the windshield.

I still haven’t washed mine yet.
Re-epoxied my lt headlamp from a hit and run a few years ago.
Decided enough is enough and ordered some new headlamps. El cheapo Rock Auto.
Will re-paint my grill when I do the swap. This is the third grill that has faded on the top.
    See how they perform..

Same here. I washed one section, then got most water off with chamois cloth, then used leaf blower for final dry. Was a race against the sun and pollen.

I think it wouldn't be too bad if I had a coat of sealant on it. Guy bought it September 2022 and traded it in around late November same year. So, there's definitely no wax on it. Unfortunately someone has been washing it with a brush, so there's a bunch of micro marring I gotta polish out. I try and avoid polishing, but it's that bad. I have a cover up product for dark colors I like to use, but the paint is still new enough. Proper washing I shouldn't have to do it very often.

I also got to go through the trouble of scrubbing down the frame and coating it again like the last truck. That's not a fun job...

Got the passenger side and roof done! GTG for the summer.

    And:
    303 on the Tonneau
    Rain-X on all the windows

    Check that off the list.

Got sick of fighting small engine problems every year. Just bought an E-Go electric trimmer. Hoping it works well and I can get rid of the gasser.

I got too much yard to try and fuss with electric. I also do a couple things still at gmas house, so it makes it easier to gas and go. My Echo gas hedge trimmer has been well worth the price!

I switched to Milwaukee two years ago as I already had the batteries. My lot is 3/4 acre. Still have 1/2 battery left after doing entire property. I'll never go back to gas. Now if they could only make a mower that could last 90 minutes.

Well, I can say without a doubt that I will never buy another gas trimmer. The battery doesn't last super long, but it does a lot of work in a short time. Not sure I'd do an electric mower due to cost and the size of my lot, but for a lighter duty tool like a trimmer, electric all the way.
