Anyone here with a camper know if the awning brackets would work for a “shower” awning thing?

On the topo shortcab the spacing for awning bracket is outer-outer 53” inner 44”.. so center point around 48” as long as your awning is between that you could mount and drill holes or ask Topo to mount if you’re waiting for delivery they mounted my awning.

I think maybe that Joolca dual version might work since its quiet long has railings for different mounting points (remove the L bracket t-nuts).

I thought bout a shower awning to mount on cab rack prinsu (would have to make holes modify since the smallest i could find was 31” which is the joolca) but my awning has velcro walls you can attach, many of them do so that could be another option versus shower awning. Hope this helps

Wow, super helpful and speedy response! Thank you so much! I’m set to get my camper on the 9th and didn’t know if I should do double awning brackets as I have a 270 passenger and maybe I can find a shower one that can fit to those dimensions

Topo Toppers Mesa Bed rug Stainless nerf bars Tow kit Suspension coming soon...
Big news: Topo Toppers just announced the Mesa flat pack, shipped to your home or a certified installer (currently only in Colorado), and both have a $995 shipping fee.
The flat pack loses Tern Overland cargo door and awning window options, the lighting package option, and the front slider window option but retains everything else, including the new molle options for access doors and cab. Of note for anyone who, like me, got frustrated trying to get a clear view of the Mesa on the website initially, the flat pack webpage is really nice and clean; it should be helpful for anyone looking to get a clear presentation of basics on first glance.

I'm currently prepping to head to Ventura for my Mesa build from the Midwest (4,200 round trip) and I feel good knowing Tom and Katy's crew will give me a top notch build. Still, I might be tempted to try the Colorado pick up if I hadn't already ordered. I imagine the self-install will be great for those with the confidence and skill level (they don't always go together LOL), tools, and space to pull it off.

That's HUGE news! I did the cross country pick-up myself for my topper, but I can imagine that's hard for some folks to pull off. It's still nice to be able to meet the people in-person who actually designed/built your topper, but not necessarily a requirement in my opinion. Good work Topo!!!

Hey 3rd gen owners. How much clearance do you have in-between the shark fin antenna and the overhang of the Topo?

Just picked up a 3rd gen AC TRD OR. Will be swapping the Topo over from my 2nd gen reg cab.

Could anyone here give any recs on pillows that fit while flat?

Additionally, do y’all like the sleeping pad? Have y’all swapped it out? I have a exped duo (the big one) and I’m hoping it will fit.

Duex Additionally, can anyone recommend lil battery powered fans to help with airflow?

    Thanks!

From what I understand you can leave the shark fin or “delete” it if you want. Seems to be some space up there. I can give a measurement with mine this weekend

Great to know, surprised that a normal pillow fits! And yes you are right for the name of the exped. That’s awesome it will fit too

I have the mega mat, sleeping bags and top quilt that all fit. Tried normal flat temperpetic pillows and it didn't fit. Looking at camping alternatives if anyone has any.

Thank you both. That should be enough for when things get rough on the trail.

Any chance there is a Badlander in Central Oregon? I would love to get an in-person look. And sadly, I won't be able to visit the Overland Expo will be in Redmond this July.
