Good morning. It was down to 46° this morning. It feels like fall, but I will take that over the impending 95° + 90% humidity that will get here way too soon.

Thanks Mike. I was swapping the sensor voltages in my brain. Cheepie HF scanner calls them O2S B1S1 and B1S2. So the 7V peak on the A/F sensor might not be "bad" if the O2 sensor is swinging to both extremes. I pulled the MAF sensor and gave it a spray of the proper cleaner and threw in a new air filter element. I know it is never that easy ( at least for me) but I had to try. I'm going into town, I will live stream the data again.

Here's some cars from yesterday's car show

 

I just missed the morning so good afternoon all!!

 

The readings looked better- once I got up to 60 mph and stayed there for 10 miles, the scanner was showing 3.5-4V on the A/f sensor and .5-.7 on the O2 sensor. Cat temps were around 1K° ( I don't know how the scanner can know this, but that's what the PID was telling me). One strange thing, at the stop lights in town, it kept switching from closed loop to open loop. I dumped a can of Lucas fuel system cleaner into the tank. I like the BG chemical cleaners, there is no way to call my distributor and meet him anymore since I moved too far out of his territory.

 

What was engine temp?

I should have been clearing in my comment, that’s the lows of the days. Highs are low 80s which is surprising cool for this time of the year, humidity is really low too. Still fuzzy croc temps for coffee on the back porch in the morning lol.

 

Got in around 2100. Cleaned out a few webs and off to bed.
