We are leaving on the 1st for next weekend at Lime Rock.
Empire Cup Friday and Saturday..

We aren’t doing the Trans Am weekend.

We have to be picky with all the dumb asses driving now.
There are 3 or 4 we try to avoid at all possible..

So we look over the entry list….

Good morning everybody! I believe we might have to throw together an ark if this keeps up.

 

The animals pairing up is the tell tail sign.

 

We had some of those in drag racing years ago some would throw together death traps and most places tech wouldn’t even look close. And then there were the morons we had a guy who cobbled together a opel very light very narrow on 14-32s I didn’t run but 7.25 psi in mine on a fairly heavy car I’m sure he probably ran less. This stupid ass was doing a single pass in practice and after passing through the traps he jerked it into the left lane. We thought he hit some fluid. I asked him afterwards he said there wasn’t anybody over there so I switched lanes. I had a guy cross over on me at rockingham one more coat of paint and were both in the wall on the top end his hose came loose dumped water under his tire broke him loose and it was on!! His radiator was sitting on a 2x4. You could see it plain as day after he knocked the front end off.

Full day of watching Auto racing today !!! , just got done watching the F1 Formula one Monaco GP awesome racing as always . Next up is the Indy 500 then the Nascar Coca Cola 600 from Charlotte N Carolina

Good Morning. Son’s last couple of days before being deployed to the Middle East. Enjoyed a nice dinner and some s’mores after an expensive day of shopping to get the things he needed for this deployment. Seems the military doesn’t have what he needs and is not sure when they will get it…but will ship it to him when it arrives. God bless the men and women who serve in spite of the inadequacies of bureaucracy
