Should I take the whole thing off and open it up to check how is adjusted or just play with the screws?

Gotta pull the float bowl off to mess with it.
Probably easiest with the carb removed. Is it a new chinesium carb? Can you exchange it?
Might take the time to first see if you can determine where the leak is coming from.
https://www.motorcyclepowersportsnews.com/mechanisms-of-fuel-delivery-the-float-valve/#:~:text=The float valve has three,is retracted from the orifice.

In that link, it talks about connecting a hose to the bowl drain and opening the drain with the hose bent up. If the end of the hose is higher than the float bowl and fuel pours out of it, that's definitely your problem. Good, quick test prior to removal.

Chinesium it is, probably too late to exchange - bought it last year, and didn't have time and space to play with it until now.

Should be a fuel shutoff valve. Close it and clean the exterior of all gas. Then open the valve and watch where gas is leaking from. Yes the float can be the culprit because it prolly got jammed during handling or shipping. The float pushes a cone shaped plug upwards into the fuel feed when the bowl fills. This part might be jammed or damaged or missing. There’s a small
linkage to let the float swing up and down and it could be jammed or whatever. I’ve had an old Craftsman pressure washer that the float would stick after sitting for a long time. I would wack the side of the bowl with the handle of a screwdriver a couple times to get it to drop and it would fill with gas and start. First thing I’d do though is shut the fuel valve off and find exactly where the gas is coming from. Could be the bowl drain bolt or something simple

    good point mentioned up there....

if its one of the chineseium replacement carbs? many of these are junk right out of the box & have that exact fuel flooding thru problem.

had this happen on 2 rplacement carbs for my mini truck that were chi-com versions. had to go get a Mikuni to get it right.

I was afraid that would be a problem. The replacement looks cheap and some of the parts aren't even the same dimensions. (before someone says it's not the right carb - it is a very peculiar looking carb, and so is the replacement)

I’ve actually started a compost area specifically for making top soil to fill holes and grade with. It’ll be a long, slow process but it’d break the bank to have that much top delivered.

A suspension seat on my zero turn would be more cost effective. I’ll get it graded out eventually.

What do you guys think of Mahindra tractors? I found this Mahindra 2815 for 3500 with the attachments. Hours unknown.
Looking at this and the Kubota I previously posted up

Mahindra is a decent brand, but that tractor has been around the block a few dozen times. I couldn't give it a thumbs up without a lot more details and a though understanding of what's going on with all the straps and chains...

I definitely noted the same. Had another photo of it on driveway with a mat underneath. Probably leaks. I liked that it had a loader but honestly have zero use for that as I just need to mow only.

might go take a look at that Kubota and try to ‘restore’ it with some fresh paint to get it to look more like

    the Kubota definitely looks stout

With your use in mind, I would go for the Kabota over the Mahindra.

Kind of chainsaw related. Went with my father to help him get firewood. Using the BLM maps and permit info, we found a couple pieces of madrone but nothing spectacular. Ended up running into a couple guys from the logging compay I worked for. After a but of BSing, they said if I go up to the site they are working, they decked a bunch of madrone.
They weren't kidding. Got a little over a cord of clean madrone and there is enough still there l, I could take a self loader up and get a good load if I had room to put store it.

I would tend to agree with Kbar and Kramerica walk away. Mahindra seems to be a (Gray Market) here in the states thru regular channels. At least around me. Kubota good to go parts are easlily had.
Check if when Kubota is running if you can turn key back 1 click and motor keeps running but not clicking hrs. if so hrs. might not be accurate. My B7100 can do that.
Kramerica is partial to the other orange tractor.

I really like that! Price doesn't look bad, either. I have a 16 ft Big Tex car hauler and it's good for a small to medium size vehicle or loading pallets of stuff, but too big to use for lighter work.

Something like that in addition would be perfect.

Hour meter is driven thru tachometer, you can see the drive cable on right side on the top engine pic. Cable driven hour meter and tach, the down side is, hours aren’t linear due to engine speed, lower engine operation the hours rack up slower, engine rpm at suggested PTO speed and they track pretty well. Pretty common in older machines in machines with tachometer and hour meter in same housing. Many diesels don’t need power once running so don’t have much of an electrical system. Fuel solenoid doesn’t pull much power if so equipt, many have manual fuel cut to shut down.

I gotcha but my 79 B7100 if left with the key turned on it keeps ticking even though the engine is off, same for when just idling. Might just be mine. I will have to really watch it.

mahindra makes a fairly strong tractor.... but the support for them & parts are not on the same planet with the Kubota.

an old Kubota is still a Kubota & its value is gonna stay higher than the chi-com tractor.

trust me on this: ive got Kubota(Japanese) & Kioti(Korean version) tractors & while the Kioti is built to the exact same specs ...... its value is 30% less than the Kubota.

hard to go wrong with a good Kubo.

Wasn't someone looking for a Kabota deck because theirs was rotted out? I don't remember the size, but saw this one and figured would hurt nothing to link it.
