What are you streaming on Amazon, Netflix, etc?

Blood and Gold on Netflix.
I enjoyed it. It is more of an ode to Quentin Tarantino films. While it is a Boy Meet Girl, it's not the romcom your wife wants as a chick flick.

1899 Netflix - First time I only watched two episodes as I couldn't focus on it (maybe when I had Covid brain fog); finally
rewatched it and started to understand "they are messing with me" and loved it. The cast, different nationalities, subplots, and
cinematography were excellent. Just pissed they canceled after one season.

1899 - The making of. Only watch after you have seen 1899. Recommended.

Irregulars Netflix - Homes and Watson with a dark supernatural twist. I enjoyed it.

I enjoyed The Spy (2019).

One show I loved was Riley Ace of Spies. PBS aired the series. Had to look it up; 1983 (watched on my 12" color TV, one of my first purchases after graduating with my BSEE degree). https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reilly,_Ace_of_Spies Not sure if is streaming or will hold up to the test of time, but enjoyable.

College days, I loved Garmes Garner in the Rockford Files. I would do my chemistry homework while watching TV. Later when watching an old rerun, I never realized how much dead time there was in the show. During the final, I'd "rewind" old shows, find the episode in my mind, and could recall how I solved a chemical equation. Yes, I am a freak, but it worked for me.

I dunno if it's a Gen X thing, since I'm Gen X also, but OMFG this is hilarious. Will Arnett is incredibly funny. These 3 have been friends for a long time apparently. I just started listening to their podcast and that's amazing too. I like how Bateman is the Felix Unger to Will's Oscar Madison. Sean is funny just laughing at these two.

I had never heard of the podcast. I’ve been stuck on my usual go to’s for over a decade. this just happen to pop up on my HBOMAX ~ now MAX app but I thought, Interesting after I read the notes on it. Played it.

Started this last night. Didn't seem like something that would hold my attention, the marketing wasn't very good for it. But, a lot of posters on here said it was good and it is.

 

Just finished Woman of the Dead. German series that takes place in Austria. It's not a waste of time, but not a must see either. Definitely dark in way that Germans do so well. Lead actress looked familiar, found out she was in Dogs of Berlin. Started watching that again, and I had forgotten how good that series was. I do remember that the way the series built up to the final episode, and then paid off way more than expected, was quite nice. A total ride.

 

Money Heist - Netflix. Enjoying this Spanish series.

Finished Snowfall. Been enjoying it over the last several weeks. Last episode could've been better and could've been worse, but overall it was a great series.

 

The Outsiders

 

I thought it was a great ending to the whole thing. In your opinion what would have made it better?

 

I'm not sure. Some kind of happier ending for the main characters.
