Was that you with the TW sticker on the back window? I was there today also, it was very full. I would've looked for the owner to introduce myself but I had a group of new shooters with me I was tending.

Alright everyone, I saw @RobP62 while driving around tonight. Gave him the ol taco wave and a honk, though he was already waving at me.

Gorgeous weather, most people have off work tomorrow. Perfect storm.
Bring the SxS. We can meet up at one of those restaurants you talk about, maybe do a very mild dirt excursion to satisfy the trail ride requests.

That's the one, noted it as soon as I rolled in. I was in the filthy grey one across the lot. It was a beautiful range day, even though it was crowded.

I was hoping to see who's truck it was in this thread, this thread rarely disappoints

You were a lifesaver dude. I had 2 minutes to grab my range bag and rifle case, and forgot the seminal piece of range kit lmao. Thank you for your contribution to us being able to shoot

Hey Md'er's! Morgantowner here. I was planning on poppin over to wolf den state park on my days off this week in my completely bone stock 2017 offroad Tacoma. Is there anything for me to do there? Or is it a spot that's almost guaranteed to trash my stock daily driver?

Got no one to go with, so I'll be going alone as well. just the GF sitting passenger.

Talk some sense into me. Am I about to do something very stupid? Or can I responsibly have a little bit of low risk fun?

I can’t speak personally about Wolf Run, beings I’ve never been out there. But I can give you some small wisdom… do some googling, see what pics and levels people have rated things out there as. Check and watch your cell reception. If something does go wrong and you break an axle or something… will be nice to be able to call a friend for parts or help. And even though the GF is riding sidesaddle, it’s never a good idea to OffRoad alone. If your rig goes down, you’re stranded. If you’re going to go at it alone… bring whatever gear you can. Straps/chain, come along, traction boards, spare tire, basic hand tools. Always always always, pre-trip your rig!

All that said, if you go… take your time. If you think something is a bad idea or you question if a part of the journey is too much for your rig, go around it or turn back.
