Thanks yeah I checked that thread out but there wasn’t anything on there for me. I did see someone posted a link to maxtrax that were half off but they were all sold out by the time I saw it.

I’ve never been to Wolf Den but I just googled it and I can only find pics/videos of people doing trails in ATVs. Looks cool though. Did you find info about trails that are doable in a truck?

 

I saw a video by some guy in a Tacoma, looks like mud, and then some rocky hill climb thing. Looks a little sketchy to do fully solo, but I don't think I'd break my truck if I'm not an idiot

You and me both man, it’s not unusual for me to spend an hour a day doing tire research. Usually stuff I’ve already looked at lol

 

i'm looking now lol. i have a 2.7 and looking at e rated since i'm going to add a slide in camper but not until next year. wonder if having no real added weight will effect ride quality. i'm getting a cheap shell for the meantime

Yes! Yeah that would be perfect. Maybe I will have made up my mind by then and purchased tires but it’s doubtful haha.

Yeah that’s a good point. Although I’ve already had 285’s and the only other size I’m considering is 255 so that’s really the last one standing that I would like to check out in person.

 

I love the 255s on my truck. Wont likely use another until i could fit 35s and have associated stuff for those

 

See that’s what makes me want 255’s…everyone who runs that size seems to agree it’s the best size ever for our trucks.

Did either of you guys recalibrate your speedo? That’s probably giving me the most anxiety about the switch.

 

doing things backwords but just ordered a deflator and compressor. need to wait until end of june to get tires. going to get stock size a/t until i can get my camper.
