absolutely but glad to be part of the injunction while the dust settles. This will take a few years for the courts to resolve and I’m glad to avoid the awkward in between time.

Regardless, the injunction is unlikely to stay in place for long: the Fifth Circuit has scheduled oral arguments on June 29 in New Orleans. Mock v. Garland is one of several pending lawsuits over the rule. Pro-gun rights groups have filed at least two other challenges, one in a separate case in Texas and another in North Dakota, that could ultimately hamper the rule and shit all over the place. I do like the positive things coming from the rules but there is just to much uncertainty with each ruling.

 

Everyone is covered. It’s called the constitution.

Saw this on Reddit yesterday and signed up immediately. I figured even if for some reason it doesn't cover new members, I'm ok with supporting a group that is fighting the good fight.

 

As soon as this was even mentioned, a friend jumped at the chance of a "free tax stamp". Meanwhile, I'm like this will go away so I'm waiting it out.

The court cases might all be settled before the Form 1s get approved.

 

I'm already in the AFT database so a free SBR tax deferred paperwork is not a big deal. I can put a proper stock on the firearm, if the ban gets struck down, I can just put back the brace and not have to worry about paperwork when traveling out of state.

 

One of mine got approved within *GASP* 28 days. Which was a total surprise. The others are still in the "SUBMITTED" stage. NO surprise.

 

My wait is currently at 15 weeks.
