This weekend makes 10 years since my first visit here as part of a long distance motorcycle rally. It was a mandatory stop to stop and pay your respects to a former Vietnam vet and fellow rider who lost his life in a motorcycle accident.

Even though the event no longer exists the retired rally master reminds all of his former riders each year that we should still stop. It's a small price to pay taking the time to do so.

    Evening all:

I've never been to Fort Indiantown Gap and never knew that there was a big cemetery there, always thought it was an army base with restricted access. Heard about it many times and been in the general area, but never thought about checking it out, thanks for posting the pics.

:annoyed: @ 5:00 I happened to glance out the window and saw the bear swimming in the pond, @ 5:20 the pond is down quite a bit, it pushed the drop pipe over AGAIN! Placing smelly stuff around the pond that bears don't like, rat traps with nails, and a board with sharp decking screws hasn't deterred it, still think it's time to put some doughnuts out in the middle of the road!
Worse yet, a guy told me that he saw two cross the road right at the pond, now the sucker is teaching other ones where the pond is, maybe one day I'll look out and see 5 or 6 of them in the pond!

    RIP Col. Young  .

The cemeteries are well maintained and a place to go to reflect on the price of war. We visited the American Cemetery in Colleville France in Normandy the cemetery overlooked Omaha Beach. A Frenchan told me that they have a lot of Respect for Americans because if it wasn't for us they would be speaking German. Made me feel good.

For now your going to have to "bear: with ot Carl until you can ,come up with a plan :D.
Maybe set up a motion detector that sets of a string of loud bangs or such.:D:confused::D
Good luck dealing with them

Sometimes in WI, the Dept of Natural Resources will trap and relocate nuisance bears.

We had a skip at the end of testing.
So took a shot at a few things.
    We will see…

I think this is one of the most moving photos ever captured when thinking of honoring veterans, especially those who died in service to our Nation. Real photo, captured by Frank Glick at Fort Snelling, Minnesota early one morning. Frank passed away a few years ago but this image lives on.

Good morning. Rained off and on most of the day yesterday, hard at time. Hope everyone had a good weekend and were able to enjoy all three days of the weekend in your own way.

    Good morning all!

Really wasn't feeling that return to work this morning after 3 days off. I can understand how you retired folks must feel.
