FS: 2 OEM Radios

Have two OEM radios. First is what came with my 07 and has just the single CD if I remember right.

The second one was from when I upgraded from the first one, and was slightly newer and had a built in CD changer and can read MP3, if you’re still in that era.

Both worked when I pulled them quite a few years ago as I upgraded to my head unit I have now. They’ve been in storage since, One or both are free for the price of shipping. Bonus if you mail me back the CD in it.

I'm interested if you still have one of them avalible. Should be a drop in on my 08? Do they need a lock out code to reinstall?

 

I got the older single disc one still. Not sure what a jock out code is so no? Lol

 

Sorry, typo. "L" ockout code. VW for example puts lockout codes on their headunits. It freezes the unit, if its unplugged. The unit needs a code upon reinstalation to work. It "supposedly" is to render a unit useless for theft reasons.

What condition the single cd unit in?

I’m not 100% on the lockout, I pulled it out of my OEM (it was working fine) because I wanted to upgrade to the multi disc and have a line out jack in the back. I swapped that used multi disc in with no issues either, so I don’t think these lower end radios have any sort of lockouts to my knowledge, but I could be wrong.

It’s in good condition, it was only used for like 40k miles or so before I pulled it and it’s been in storage pretty much ever since. You can see a scuff or two in the one pic. It does not come with the mounting bracket but you should have on in your truck already. I can get more pics if you need
