    No you don’t.
You trade one job and getting paid for 50 jobs for free.
I’m not super good at math but even that doesn’t add up… LOL

Good morning all! Finally got back to check out of the missed posts. A late shout out to all of you that served. I didn't, tried but the draft ended the day before my 18th. I went to enlist but found out was medical ineligible, hearing I guess. But father and brother did. Army and Navy.
Anyway enjoying a little rain. Came over to the lake for a couple days. We have the pleasure of sharing 18 acres of lake property in Minnesota with 11 of my wife's brother's and sister's. That had been in the family since '71.

As a former Marine, I can assure you that you being ineligible to participate in war only means you certainly have an angel on your shoulder.

The costs for medicine is getting crazy I have 1 med that goes up every time I refill it. It is not a genaric and can't be for me anyway seems that it doesn't stay consistent and I'm always changing doses. But that is the least of my worries, as it's still under $150 for 90 days. It is not covered by any drug plan I've seen.
I just wish the politicians would stop saying they are helping us. I found an old medical bill from 1976 for an office visit $15.dollars for an office visit on a Saturday. 5 if it was a normal work day.

I have a minimal asthma condition that requires an inhaler when the weather conditions/time of year requires it's use.
A single inhaler can last me a couple months or more.
Had to get another type last month as insurance coverage was dropped due to the tier classification.
Not the first time this happened.
Normally it cost me around 40 bucks. When they change the classification, price jumps to $360.
    And why?

Thanks but I did want to, at the time for the education benefit. But I know what you meant. My brother never left port at Virgina Beach. Served as a firefighter on base. However his son was in the Irac war one of the first in the fall of Bagdad . Then 2 tours on door to door clean up duty. As team leader. He was proud to say he never lost a man on his team. However when he left the service 3 people he worked with gave all. Doing that same job. When he got out his CO told my brother he was one of the best at that job,

Can't like that one, my asthma condition is similar. I thought my last one was a little more than normal but not that costly

    I tried (Kinda) also.
Asthma as a young kid (bad) but I eventually grew out of it in my teens.
They like to promise things when you go in.
Started asking question back and forth etc and was feeling ok about it.
Wanted to be a heli pilot.
Yeup if you can pass courses, qualifications, etc we can make that happen.
Then things turned for the worse in 2 seconds and I told them to go to hell
And walked out. Never looked back…

Donated blood today - Power Red. Blood goes out, goes through a centrifuge and plasma gets pumped back in. Repeat so you give 2 units of blood in one sitting. And, I got 2 nifty pool towels, too.

I'm just going to have to go to another city where the bus actually goes! They show up here by magic, and the site you can make reservations elsewhere does NOT accept my email questions!

My son had a seizure at 18 months and one about every six months after that until he was 11. He wanted very much to sign up, but was rejected due to his history of epilepsy. He's taught his old man all kinds of lessons in life, including setting an example of what courage is. I felt terrible for him when he didn't get his wish to serve... but in my heart I was relieved. One of those strange moments in life where a parent is conflicted. Maybe angels were involved...

Oh no! Have you hit it with a hammer yet?

After figuring out my "price escalation", I'm not talking drugs anymore this week!

LOL! I said TALKING, not taking!

Bolt mower to garage. Tie starter string to trailer hitch. Drive off. If garage breaks, you won't care about mower! (or ask Mike!)
