All, offering a freebee here. Pioneer receiver, NO HDMI, wi-fi or USB (lets get that out first), does have optical with the rest of the inputs/outputs as the red-white-yellow and S-video. Works, and worked well for many many years, just can’t find much in upgrades without hdmi. Also can send with several RWY and S-video cables if wanted. PM me if interested, no, will not ship.

I'm flying into Hobby and staying at the Hilton next to the airport for a night, then out the next day. Any BBQ recommendation within walking/uber distance?

I mostly travel the west coast and I've sadly learned over the years where to walk and not walk around most of those major cities. Lots of places that were safe to wander around for years are sketchy af anymore.
Last time I was in TX was Dallas and that was years ago. Can't remember the last time I was in Houston.
