With our old dog Dexter who we got as a rescue and he also exhibited excessive puppy behavior we went through similar things. One game that he loved was ‘Find it’, what we would do is shut him in a room and hide a bit of kibble or low grade treat somewhere random, make sure the scent is on your hands, open the door just enough so he can poke his head out, smell the hands and then say find it and encourage them to hunt for the treat. We then progressed onto finding toys. Even if a toy had been ripped into 3 pieces for example and we hid one piece and left the other two on the floor he would find the one bit that we had rubbed in our hands to get the scent and hid. Once he got the idea he LOVED the game and no need for treats. It’s a cool party trick to show off to friends too :)
Have even trained friends dogs to play ‘find it’ within 2 or 3 times of hiding a bit of kibble, they learn quick.
Also something like a backpack can make them feel like they are doing something, almost like a job to carry stuff. As you know dogs love to please and “can” be very intelligent. Best of luck!

FYI have found a dog sitter that takes the dog into their home, a perfect fit :)

Got a buddy in the market for a work commuter... He said it can be a beater and not having AC isn't a deal breaker. If youve got something let me know!

Selling my 2010 Matthews Z7 bow. Purchased it used 2 years ago and had it restrung to fit me. I wanted to get into archery but realized I am a much better rifle shooter. Will include the larger cam, arrows, broad heads, and field tips as a complete package. Great starter bow for someone. Asking $600- pick up in Chandler. DM works best.

That's a great deal! I shoot a DXT and love it! If I needed another bow I'd be on it.

    Stupid error, though ambitious.

Learning to backup into my 1 car garage ... caught my driver mirror on the side in what I thought was "nothing". Turns out this part pictured (lower cover "scallop" on the mirror arm covering the white-electrical cable) had fallen off. Then got run over, holding-on tabs broken. I cried for hours.

Anyone have a spare they do not use because of an "extreme mirror makeover"? Currently packing-taped on so no splashing into the assembly ... monsoon season is about 2 weeks away ...

Edit: 2022 OR, color match mirror body.

IIRC the only way to get that piece replaced (mine is broken too) is by buying a whole new mirror assembly. They sell the entire housing and the mirror/glass, and the body matched cover as independent pieces, but they don't break it down beyond that. I think the assembly is ~$250 or so.

Thanks for that information. Seems you have not found it worth the investment either. Maybe I will stop by a "second hand parts store " in the valley ...
