Doesn't it seem a bit high up? Blocking rear view and the camera? I suppose it's up and out of the way for towing...

I think every rear tire mount blocks the rear view and camera lol

First thing to learn is to always put the sun or bright spot behind you if possible.

see how it's brighter down the road in the background, that's what messed up the shot,
there is ways to overcome that with a good camera but that's far beyond my little knowledge
