Hard time seeing over the hood, looking for a scoop delete

My wife is not a tall person, and I find the non-functional hood scoop annoying in several ways.
    (non-functional?)

I removed the scoop element to "see how it looks", and am fine without the scoop, but would like to fill the gap.

I did an internet search for "Taco hood scoop delete" and got a few hits on this forum, but no reference to filler panels.

Has anyone seen such a thing?

    NB
I've considered the "swap hoods" route, but I have put on hood lifts, and swapping just seems like a PIA.

A hood swap would be easier I think then a clean delete. And I bet you could find someone very willing to swap a paint matched hood for one with a scoop. Good luck with it

Swapping hoods is incredibly easy, just 4 bolts.

Plus you will actually make money doing it.

I got a flat hood and $250 for my scooped hood, and it only took 10 minutes to swap the hoods.

Is $$$ worth the PITA? If you’re in a populated area, it’s definitely something I’d suggest as I’ve never seen a delete kit for sale.
Find somebody and disclose that you’ll have to drill out the rivets for the struts (I’m assuming. If they bolt on just do it!), or include them and buy another set for your new flat hood.
I’ve seen scoops go for crazy amounts on the swappin’ and tradin’ thread.
The only one I could find up here wasn’t the same color and getting it wrapped/painted is more hassle than my disdain for for the scoop, otherwise I would have been all over it.

When I first got my '21 Sport, my reaction to the scooped hood was the same as the OP's. But I got over it. For one thing, the scooped hood is more rigid, and doesn't vibrate at highway speeds. And the visibility problem can be mitigated by some judicious adjustment of the driver's seat. The truck does look better externally with the scooped hood.

Just removing the scoop itself won't solve the problem, because the whole hood has a hump. If you want to get rid of the scoop, the only way is a complete hood swap.
