    can you wheelie a bicycle?
starting with a pedal bike will be your best bet...

@spencermarkd - Honda just announced the 2024 color line up for the grom. The SP in Matte grey metallic is coming to the us market!

I’m still waiting to see if they announce new colors for the monkey. The Asia market has a black one that looks awesome with the white tank and plaid seat that the current models have. Right now it’s just red and yellow but they both use the same white and silver tank so the color is a bit subdued.

I was wondering if they were going to do that. One of the grom web stores bought a bunch of the euro decals and imported them in last week, so they're gettable in the US pretty easily now. I still like mine better, but that would have saved me a good chunk of change in new panels haha.

All of their colors for the 2024's are actually looking pretty sweet. I'm loving this teal:

Theres a cool orange, too. Also looks like the SP no longer has ABS, which surprises me, and the ABS only comes in plain white pearl.

Fair enough, I offered $2k over text and seller said they're firm on price so that saves me a trip.

I used to be able to wheelie my MTB in high school but have been riding road bikes since then which I can't wheelie. I was getting decent on my old supermoto but getting to the balance point always scared me and I never was able to do anything more than chase out wheelies.

Seems like everybody is firm on the price for the first 1-2 weeks. All I know is selling stuff on Craigslist sucks and I usually post items for a little more than I actually want for it. That way I get more than I wanted or the buyer feels like they are getting a deal if I accept less.

I posted my DRZ for $2500 hoping to get $2200 but haven’t gotten any offers over $1700 which I’m considering taking just to get it out of my garage. :(

Selling anything sucks pretty much. I listed a few things for sale yesterday and have been bombarded with people who don’t even start with basic politeness - just things like “$20”, “what’s your street”, or “is it available” and then never respond when you say yes.

Got my beak in for the grom today and Honda/Cyrca put these on the back of the instructions for “inspiration”. Some of them are pretty cool. I wish someone maybe a cheap number board for the side, I might try and make one someday.

Also thought the XR was sweet, too.

I've had 5 motorcycles in my lifetime....never bothered to get a license for any of them. (Back in the day you could most likely get away with that...it's just no fun anymore)
Now that I just turned age 70, I'm thinking of getting a Can-Am Ryker 600 RT (3 wheeler-no motorcycle license needed in California) My wife told me if I lost 30lbs. she'd buy me one.
Only 13 more pounds to go. Trying to find some local groups in San Diego to attend meet ups and whatnot to talk to owners. Everything is Facebook, I don't do Facebook. Signed up for "Meet-Up",
I think that was a mistake.

Sign of the "grEAt STrOng EcoNoMy" we have going on right now. People are finally realizing that they cant afford luxury items like motorcycles when food/utilities/rent etc are up 50+%. Im happy I sold my 919 for what I did recently (3k$), but if I would of sold it 1-1.5 yrs sooner I could of had 1k more in my pocket easy.

Seriously, I got $4k for mine I think? Took a while but sold eventually. This was only in February.

If I would you I would be fasting for those 13 pounds until they were gone. Some of the motorcycle community laughs at the Can-am however they aren't looking at the big picture; easy on your back, automatic, comfortable to ride, still quick and less input needed to ride. I for one would ride one all day over those stupid Harley trikes that cost like $35k and tip over constantly. If your wife was offering to buy you one of those also check if she opened a new insurance policy on you.

Ooof. I just spent $1600 on bike parts. :spending:

Guess it was out of character because I got a fraud alert from my cc company. Turns out they know I’m a cheapskate.

That is surprising. $1,700 is quite low if the bike is in good condition.

I was going to say the same thing but @spencermarkd is pretty capable. I was going to wait and see what he came up with first. Haha.
