Anyone have experience with this? Worth it or should I just get that bluetooth one with the app?

I have an Innova 6100p that looks almost exactly like this but can read SRS codes. At this price level I would look for another tool that has more features.

Picked up the Pittsburg 1/2" click torque wrench for $11.99 weekend sale price and compared it to the max reading on the Quinn 1/2" digital torque adapter. At wrench click of 30 ft-lb the digital max was 28.3 and at wrench click of 60 ft-lb the digital max was 57.2. I have no idea how accurate any of these measurements are, but the consistency is better than I expected.

Also got the 100 ft air hose reel for $20 and just put it together. The swivel doesn't leak and the build is far sturdier than I expected for the price paid, now planning to get another next visit.

Take it back and get the retractable one. You can hang it overhead, and let it wind up automatically, which keeps the hoses out of your way.

I've had the same one for years.

I got the Bauer reconditioning tool. Previous owner did a very poor job painting my deck so I can’t just paint over it. Tool has been working quite well with the 40 grit wheel. Does take a decent amount of effort to use though, but great results.

Absolutely. Have air and electric in the center of my shop on retractable reels and love a quick tug and it’s away.

I swapped out the air hose for a heavy duty extension cord. Works great and the extension cord is a heavy gauge that you can't normally get in a retractable cord set-up but the hose reel makes it much easier to use.

Here’s an interesting read from Motor trend a few years back. It doesn’t appear to be the whole article, but I remember reading it when it was first published and they said while the Pittsburgh clicker wrench wasn’t the most accurate within a certain window, it was the most consistently accurate wrench throughout the range of values that it could be set to. Pretty interesting.

Thanks. I hadn't seen that one, will probably trade up for another $30

Here's a pretty useful thought from that article, thanks I hadn't considered that before but makes sense:

"The point here is that you should always return your clicker torque wrench to the base setting before storing the wrench. This simple step will maintain the wrench’s accuracy for years instead of mere months."

Are the paint sprayers any good? Or should I get a Wagner?

I picked up this guy yesterday: at their "parking lot" sale for a good price. I got a few doors to strip, and the citrus strip ain't what it used to be (in California) anymore. So I needed some more POWER. :rofl:Along with a few of the metal folding saw horses...

Just picked one up a few weeks ago. I used it to stain some fence. Worked well for the price. Make sure you thin the paint/stain per instructions. Also thoroughly clean sprayer after using.

Been considering buying that thing ever since it came out last year.

Would you recommend long term you think?

I'll let you know shortly. After the remodel, I'll try to get the old DIY Herculiner out of the bed with this tool... eventually, I need to repaint all the metal bits and pieces... bumper easy to take off... not sure about the sliders.. Might be time to cut those off and have a shot at round two.

They are just mall parking lot door ding protection for the foreseeable future anyway right?
