That is a quote from an old timer that I randomly met in a grocery store a long time ago. It has stuck with me ever since.

 

For those that gave their life for freedom; here’s why veterans groups hand out poppies:

In Flanders fields the poppies blow

Happy Monday and even bigger Happy Memorial Day!

Getting into a set schedule gig in medicine has some perks as I now get to take off some holidays. I’ll be working around the house as always. It’s crunch time trying to clean up before our wedding here in September.

Also ordered some parts to get a phone mount set up in my GX since the conversation was floating around recently.

Well, while my weekend may not have gone how I would have really liked ...

I have to say, was a good weekend.

Nice little wheeling trip yesterday with a bunch of yall...

Today was pretty low key as well. Did some chores while she went grocery shopping...

Then, spent some money at the range banging steel(she finally shot my M1A, and I'm so glad I caught that first squeeze on video), and sighted in, and "broke in" my first small bolt action(will be for plinking, and teaching the youngest)...

Then washed the crap off my truck(and found out I have no more cans of FF).

No bikes this weekend, but, that seems to be the M/O lately(not my preferred choice).

I hope all had a good weekend.

While I won't preach, I also hope, that, we all took some time, to remember, the somber reason for the day.

I will also say, that, those of yall I have met through TW, have given me hope for the human race. Yall are a good bunch of cats, so, thank you.

Agree with these sentiments. I've been involved with multiple groups across five different car brands and several motorsports groups. The Tacoma crowd has been the best in many ways. And it started here for me being a drop off location for a TW Express @Chasespeed @Brownmatthall

 

We call that a sword fight. Looks like they're trying to secure a very long girt.

They are but could easily be staggered to see and talk to each other better. Just a matter of time before something is dropped onto a waiting face… maybe I just work with idiots
