What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Took ARB out of the plastic box, and put in my Smartcap passenger side half bin. Moved the molle panel to the inside. Drilled for power and ground, and started wiring stuff, but got stopped for now by some rain.

What color did you choose? Did you do just the chrome surround and emblem or the whole grille, emblem and black insert?

 

Thanks! I’ll update pics once I finish the compartment out. The compressor and new mounting plate has been sitting on my table for a couple weeks while I collected all the proper hardware. Haha

 

Are those bronze 701's? Got a side shot of your truck you could share?

I modified a cheap rack (Amazon 250$us) it measured 84 x 50. I took about 11" off if it to make it around 73" x 50". Sawzalls! Is there anything they can't do? I also sprayed it with a couple of coats of Rustoleum bed liner. Surprisingly, the paint was not textured. The tracks on my ARE cap are aluminum 1-5/8" x 7/8" Unistrut. I had to modify some hardware, but the thing seems like it's on there solid.

I now have wind noise when driving over 40MPH. I am going to experiment a bit, but I don't hold out much hope for improvement.

I dropped off a new undercover Tonneau cover to the Body shop for them to install it while My truck is in the shop. Its replacing the one that got damaged when my truck got hit.

 

Installed third gen off-road rims, and third gen off-road shocks front and back.

next thing in the list is Clazzio leather seat covers!

Stripped a bolt trying to remove the skid plate, which I need out of the way to access the AC clutch I want to replace

It's 90+ degrees and no AC

 

Got a steal on a Yakima double rack from a friend of a friend. $70
My best bang for buck mod yet

@SSX999 I broke one this winter changing the belt in -30 degree weather....I feel your pain!! you can always roll the windows down...

 

you know ive spent plenty of time with GSP, most are super high energy, my last one was an absolute moron, until that dog saw a gun come out, and then he was glued to you or working until he heard that rifle go off. then back to stupid for a bit. Was a great boy. but damn he was an idiot.
