Son helped build a small flagstone patio for the Solo Stove before he deployed. Still work in progress but it will be a nice quiet reflection space as I think of how proud I am of him.

 

Not much to do there lol too steep for a sidewalk and wheelbarrows and stairs aren’t real compatible. Can you wheel stuff around the other side of the house ?
Other option get a 2 wheeled barrow or a cart so when you wipe out it won’t spill as easily lol

They are 5/8" powdered coated metal pipes. Better to use a 17 mm drill bit after powder coat, though.

Im the farthest thing from from an engineer, but my understanding is that it is extremely good at stabilizing ground, on slopes and for use with retaining walls. Was recommended by a builder buddy of mine and I will be using it on a gravel driveway to our backyard becaue we live the #slopelife. Lotsa projects going on around here and I am definitelty envious of people with flat lots.

Pretty full day of yard work! The old Indian Hawthorn bushes planted in front of the house finally died out after nearly 55 years. My dad helped me dig them up and plant some young azaleas. Looking forward to when they get bigger and bloom! Also took advantage of the recent mulch sale at Home Depot and got a fresh layer on everything out front.

Weedeated around the house + fence line, gave the yard a good haircut, and pressure washed the sidewalk (after pics taken). It was hot but worth it. Looks a lot better now.
