I had one of these W123s back in the go-go 80s. In those days every 4th car driving down Kavanaugh was a Benz. Built like a tank but slow as shit. Lighter cars with McPherson struts were a lot more fun to drive. I got over it in a little over a year.

They're tanks tho. They use them as bush taxis in Africa. Insanely overbuilt like a Land Cruiser. That's back when MB set out to build the greatest car in the world.

In the early 80s, there was a financial bust in the Texas and Oklahoma oil patch that sent many MBs to market. Little Rock was blowing and going in those days so a bunch of people bought them fairly cheap. They were all over the place around here. Then poof they all disappeared. By then I was in NYC and lost track of anything back home.

Anyone know how to get these to match better? LED bulb for headlight? Have never messed with lighting really.

Oh yea. Many times. I don't recall the Car Wash loop having any big mud holes. That is unless you drive by Union School and head toward Ozone. There is a terribly abused mud hole past the school. There is a bypass to the right of the mud hole that allows a SWB vehicle to pivot through it.

PIAA makes 6k halogen bulbs. Amost all of them are just a blue coating to tint the light. There's also a bunch of off brand ones on Amazon if you're feeling lucky.

You can put LED bulbs in the headlights but chances are the pattern will be dogshit, blind everyone, and fail to light up the road well

    Sweet! Thanks!

    yeeee

I learned way too much about color temp a couple jobs ago. Was asked to help plan an office build out and the color temp of the overhead lighting became a point of contention lol

Yeah, office stuff is crazy. I do the mechanical stuff for them but on finish I see all the architects running around making sure lights have right color and matching floor to floor, office to office and reflect off specific fabrics. Its kinda crazy. They even have this mood chart they use to make sure rec areas with pool tables and shit have the right colors vs media rooms vs collective rooms. They even have inspiration rooms. Super cool. Especially on demo when I take all the cool shit home.:rofl::rofl:

Does anyone else absolutely loathe grocery shopping?

Thankfully I'm only 5 blocks from safeway and there's 3 bars between my house and having to walk in cramped aisles with spatially aware idiots:jpow:
