Gas!!! It'd take me all day if I got electric, or :spending::spending::spending::spending: for extra batteries. It takes me 2 - 2 1/2 hours to cut it and haven't heard of any battery that lasts that long. Thanks.... I just need to wait for the next rain and then rake the dirt to level it out. The pictures don't do it justice.... nor the spot where he turned the front wheels and dug a nice ditch....thumbnail_20230522_174646.jpg

Rob: For this trip we will be taking the F150. There are a few extra projects to do at the cottage and my son has some larger Christmas decorations he wants to bring home. I am also on the lookout for a small table to place the Wi-Fi mesh point on to have it at window height. The Avalon had a modification to fortify the weakest part of the car, the sorry stock front seat cushions. Took it to a recommended upholstery shop recommended by the local car club and was not disappointed. We have a trip planned in August to attend a family reunion in western North Carolina which will be the real test. So far the seat mod is so comfortable.

Good morning. @Oldie2007 The pictures are fantastic.

I keep knocking projects off the project list. Today is not a busy one so far. I will probably replace the lower rear bumper reflector on the Avalon. I replaced them with a LED solution and the driver's side has an intermittent open in the circuit board. Replacing it is a little challenging in that the exhaust pipe is right in the way. Then there is the Thursday discount shopping at the grocery store that will be done.

I'm so envious...when you grow up in Connecticut as I did, the home of Pratt & Whitney, the sound of a radial is almost the state song.

    Good morning all
It's another day to enjoy what ever gets tossed our way. Minnesota is really nice in the woods on a lake. The water temperature must not have gotten above 70 yet the fog across the lake hovers tight in the water really cool to watch but doesn't show up on camera. Makes that first cup of coffee more enjoyable.

Not even a ripple, there are only two other private parties on this lake. The rest is state forest. A person could walk out on the deck naked and not be bothered..... Except by the mosquitoes, and that would be a hell no.

The F150 is your son's truck IIRC? That's a nice ride for a road trip.
Interesting about the seats, Kristi had a similar complaint in her Highlander, we went the same route with additional foam padding in the front seats, with like results. I thought maybe it was just her, but now I think maybe not...any way she's very happy now. And we all know, if Momma's happy, everybody's happy. ;)
    Have a great day! :fistbump:

 That has been me at work tonight, had a little shift rapport building grill session, chicken, salmon (Red & King), and Lingcod with sides. Everyone got their fill and enough leftover to send the airmen home with care pkgs. I'll be ready for my nap this morning when I get home.

Nothing better than a good cup of coffee and good scenery. Quick little poll I have found McDonald's coffee grounds in our stores and find it beats the rest hands down. Little bit more money but worth it. Otherwise I used to get the small bagged store brand breakfast blend. I found Folgers good for that first opening but after a couple weeks no flavor.

I've been drinking SilverHook coffee for 20 years now. Used to buy the beans and grind myself, last 10 yrs or so I buy it in K-cups for the Keurig. I drink it black. The only way I can drink Folgers or the like is with some kind of creamer.

Hi Susan, How are you doing these days? The pups okay? My biggest problem is I have tie to spend organizing my stuff, but I always get side tracked . Someday I might just lock myself in the basement and get everything sorted out.
