And yes owning an old diesel truck can be a hassle.

Owning an old Toyota truck is anything but a hassle; hope you weren't referring to your own self.

Oops I meant to post that somewhere else. The only diese truck I’d buy if I needed one would be a 12 valve Cummins or 7.3. Too bad most of them are trashed though.

They're dead on reliable

 

She's gettin fun, wanting to walk really bad. I can get her to balance in one spot for like 10 seconds some times haha.

I get her for 8 hours on Saturday for the first time so that'll be nice

Dude every time I'm at a store, I see a little one always running around with a parent trailing behind

Yesterday this little girl, toddler, came up to me and said hi and stuff. I looked at the mom, said I was glad mine ain't walking yet, and she laughed telling me to "enjoy it while you can"

It's awesome yours is standing up though, but man once they walk they just wanna run everywhere

 

It was when I first got it, but I’ve got it running smooth and reliably now. Like I said before I’m never agreeing to a purchase or trade again before seeing and driving the vehicle.

 

You don't know hassle, that wasn't a hassle at all what you dealt with

I located it for him and he came out so we can see it in person

Anyway, we've gotta replace the rear main seal one of these days

But we'll have some fun doing it cause it'll have to be a mod day or two at my place

Just going to need to make room in the garage

 

Might as well replace the clutch while you’re at it. Doesn’t it need new VCGs too?

 

It does, but he can knock that out himself at his place which reminds me, I need to do the LC'a valve cover

Just figured it'd be easier doing the rear main at my place with a garage

Are you sure it’s the rear main and not the oil pan?

 

Yep, we both saw where the leak came from

Thoroughly inspected it before buying it, and even though the seller was damn near open about everything, I had found a few minor things so he got it for a bit cheaper

 

My rear main is probably weeping too. They pretty much all are at this age.

 

Not mine... Though I suspect my front main is leaking

That or the oil pump

 

I still wanna hang out at your place and have a mod day; you've got that big ass shop and I need to try some CO IPAs

 

Neither my Tacoma and 4Runner leaked, which I'm glad cause I would've hated doing that job at an apartment complex or my house' outdoor parking
