Warning sound after turning off ignition

Hi there,
Does anyone know what the warning sound is after turning off the ignition and opening the driver's door ?
Before someone says it, no, I did not search the owner's manual, instead, I figured someone here would have that answer handy. TIA

My Limited doesn't give any warning when opening the door so either search the manual or take it to the dealer.

 

If I open my door then shut off the engine my '19 beeps. If I shut off the engine then open the door it doesn't. My only guess.

 

Mine will occasionally do this as well. I am wondering if it has to do with the timing of having my foot on the break (or off) and shutting off the engine.

 

Mine does it if I pull the handle to open the door (even if I do not open the door all the way), and then shut down the engine. Toyota does not want us to drive with unlocked door .
Watch closely your sequence of turning off the truck and opening the door. I had to slow down and make sure I turn off the truck before I pull on the door handle.

 

Same as others, my 18 (button start) only beeps if the door is open before shutting off ignition.

 

Opening the door too quickly when shutting down?
Does it occur when you wait a few seconds after shut-down before touching the door latch?

 

Mine is sporadic too.

I chalk it up to being similar to the Toyota rear diff whine...part of the Toyota charm.
