Hey guys, new here. So I made a mistake and aloud a shade tree shop sell me the Rough Country 3.5 lift kit for my 2015 Taco. I’ve got 285/75/16 Toyo M/Ts. It ride terrible. I need advice on what to replace it with. I was thinking King front coil overs or do I need to replace everything, front and rear? Looking for a silky smooth ride.

MT tires will always ride harshly. 285-75-16 are E rated, aka 10 ply which rides harsh. What tire pressure?

This. ^^^ Start easy. To maybe get better.

Side note. Unless a truck is a purpose built street queen with high $ bits, it won't ride 'silky'.

Some will ride better than others, but when a vehicle is built to carry loads, empty will be un-silky.

It’s my daily but, also what I use to get to around my land when I need 4x4. Just wondered if I replace the suspension with something like King, would it help?

King is big money for your needs. 5100s or run what you got. Stock off-road suspension is probably the softest ride out there.

I’d start by throwing 3-400 lbs in the bed and go for a ride.

I just went with the kings and it definitely isnt plush... So that wont get to where your wanting to go unless you go with accutune and ask them to tune them to be on the plush side.

are you running e rated tires? if so, doesn't matter what you have, kings, Bilstein, fox, rough country......they will all feel rough.

are you running wheel spacers? i noticed when i ran spacers, the ride got rougher.

it isnt like kings or fox are plush. they are firm as well, but they absorb bumps much better then stock.
