    Will have to check those out; I had my eyes on Dangerfield PRAXIS set.

    @TeecoTaco
    @TnShooter

    Ordered TOK tension wrenches and a half diamond pick from Sparrow.

    Nice to see them offer individual picks as I don't really need another set right now.

    Oh man, you have a nice complete set there :drool:

    Can't wait until all the shit I've ordered arrives.

    Naturally I'll post it here, as well as other videos of opening more locks.

    Well, here's what 9lbs worth of locks look like.

    20230601_125131.jpg

    Unfortunately because it was a cheap purchase (me not paying attention), I ended up with the blue boxes being keyed the same, not to mention the orange boxes.

    The key style is also different, so I'll need to look up what sort of pick or style is used on those.

    Moving forward I grabbed one and after a minute or so of single pin picking, I thought I'd try my hand at raking.

    https://youtu.be/TfVNTaogc-g

    Decided to try it because the lock feels really cheap (loose tolerances) so I couldn't get a good feel for pin setting. They would also "grab" and have a hard time resetting when I'd release tension.

    Need a smaller pick for the smaller locks before I get to those.

    So apparently the rest are warded locks.

    Old and obselete, I guess when I get bored I can file out a skeleton key and set it aside.

    Waiting for my new lock to arrive later.

    All those Master locks are shit...like complete shit.

    When I was a kid I made my first picks by hand specifically for those master locks. First was just file any Master key in that format down to just the top edges to make a T...second one, I grabbed some spring steel and bent it to the shape you see below. Obviously still have them and just picked that ratchet lock in less than 3 seconds with my homemade spring steel pick...

    Much easier than carring around bolt cutters lol

    Nice!

    And yeah like I mentioned, I bought the lot right away cause it was cheap. Should've looked deeper at what I was getting :facepalm:

    Will keep one and make a skeleton key out of it.

    A 140 arrives today and it's supposed to be 'consistently' more difficult than the similarly priced Abus.

    Hehe, they will be useful to throw at the thiefs head while they spend time cutting the lock...

    Now...this Abus lock. This is quality. 2 years, I've picked it exactly twice...it's quality

    Yeah, that's what happened with the Brinks as it was my first lock with spool pins.

    Was done and over in about a minute.

    I honestly believe that, if someone really wants to break into something...they'll find a way to get in.

    Just want to make it difficult and 'harder' to break into but ultimately they'll win if they really wanted to.

    If I can't break into something, I'll make it a liquid :welder:

    Depends on what you are trying to secure...lawnmower in your shed? Any hardware cheapo will do.

    Map to where you buried the bodies...different story
