Any of you guys near Salem NH? I know I need to put a price on stuff but I’m helping clean out a shed from a friend that passed away. Found 4 big rolls of fiberglass. We have know idea what it’s worth but if you do any kind of fiberglass make an offer I’m sure they will let it go cheap.

This is my very first message on TW as a new member. This forum has been an incredible font of information as I am going through a massive suspension/steering/brake project overhaul and I figured I'd create an account to join the community officially as well as contribute in any way possible.

Now to stick with the topic... I am hoping to transact with a fellow TW member on some wheels for my truck. The 04 Taco I recently bought came with steelies which have been compromised by rust.

I have installed the Bills 5100 with EMU 880 in the front as well as the Tundra 13wl upgrade. Still need to tackle the rear but the goal was to achieve a 1.5-2 inch lift in the front and a 2-2.5 in the rear.

With this in mind, please share any wheels you've seen recently. I'd like to purchase and install tires separetely but this would not be a deal breaker.

I have been using craigslist/offer up/fb marketplace to research but haven't found anything reasonably priced aside from some TRD replicas and such.

Well, life happens and we find toys we want more. Putting the taco up for sale. With the Tacoma will come all the parts/spare motors/parts motors/ Tacoma related stuff that I have.

Here's what the truck is.
-2006 Tacoma base model, 2.7 4 cyl 5 spd manual. 193k miles
Fresh rod bearings with ~2k miles on them
Power steering rack is weeping
Clutch accumulator delete for better clutch feel
K&N "cold" air intake
URD short throw shifter
DND steering wheel, 2inches smaller diameter than stock for better input.
DJM lowering arms and Feal coilovers in the front, 3 in lowering blocks in the rear with 4x4 leaf springs.
DJM Frame C-notch
No carpet or interior plastics besides door cards, A pillars, and dash thanks to mice first winter I stored it.

I still drive it whenever I can. It's on its second clutch with me, and the throwout bearing has started squeaking, I have a brand new one that will go with the truck.

Other parts that come with the truck-
Stock 16" steel wheels
Holset HE351W twin scroll turbo brand new in box or used TD05H 16G "big" turbo. No shaft play on that one.
Aluminum intake manifold for 80mm throttle body with cnc adapter flange to Tacoma intake ports.
Factory x-runner wheels currently on truck.
Vorrsten 18x10.5 wheels 5x114.3 with 295/40/18 rt660's with a few events left in them. Was saving them for loring this year.
Factory x-runner x-brace not installed
Two complete engines (no accessories) in unknown internal condition. One engine disassembled and a little surface rust on the block, it had a melted piston and needs to be bored. So plenty of spare engine parts, heads, cams, cranks.
LCE balance shaft delete kit.
Factory sun visors
Black Toyota exhaust tip
Cruise control stalk
Steering wheel controls

Spare aftermarket front grill with no emblem.
Two mechanical LSD 3rd members from an x-runner with new bearings.
It is registered and insured, but not inspected currently. Do with that what you will. It's mostly an autocross orientated vehicle that can mostly be driven on the street.

Asking 5k for it with everything included. Truck and all parts located in Bangor Maine.

Not looking to separate stuff at this time.

Looking at options that can use with a Diamondback tonneau, I'll keep this in mind.... I usually hit the high peaks in early fall, but not sure this year.

 

Is anyone interested in a total loss 2018 toyota tacoma 4 cylinder? Towing company screwed my frame up and I just got word it's being deemed a total loss. All it needs is a new cross member welded in and she's mint. 97,300 on the dash just had my 100k mile service done. The frame has been krown undercoated since new. I have plenty of pictures. Figured I'd offer it up to the boys before I let the shops start a bidding war.
