    When you say the threads are a little messed up on the Y-pipe, you mean where the O2 sensors would screw in?

    No, the threads where the spring bolts from the tailpipe attach to the y pipe.

    sorry to butt in, just wanted to say that when I installed my TRD exhaust I ended up stripping both of the threads on the OEM y pipe flange. I tapped them out and all is well. Not sure if that gives you any peace of mind, but hopefully they aren’t too buggered and you would be able to make it work. Best of luck if you purchase.
