I mean I took classes on it and worked two marketing jobs that I didn't really enjoy... what they don't tell you in marketing is that you almost never get to be an ideas man... you're just a guy that knows marketing executing the lame ideas of someone higher up who doesn't.

On another note, I plan to use up this whole sheet so I'll have maybe 2-3 extra sets if anyone wants to buy a pair

I always figured the tail gate swing out I have works like a bed stiffener no? I know it has a lot of weight on it with the steel and tire but it's all tied together but maybe I'm wrong, haven't noticed anything weird happening so far with the bed at least

Your set up is modeled similar to my old Wilco so yes it keeps the bed pretty much tied in. Sergio did an awesome job on it.

I'll be leaving for Hot Springs in a couple of hours.

We laugh at this episode of King of the Hill.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gmXb3GX6B3A

It was a little mob town back in the 50s and early 60s. Different mobsters got into it and started fighting amongst themselves. I can remember when it was a wild and crazy place. A bombing caused it to draw too much attention. That ended the party.

That's not bad at all! 120 is still handleable, at least hydraulic lines filled with 120 degree fluid is lol

I thought you were trying to put 37s on 15s... did you find a set of 17 rims?

    No. Debating my frugality lol.

I could pick up a $200 set of Toyota 17s and have the poor kid bead grip or buy Battleborn beadlocks for $300 ea. I'm thinking I'll end up buying new beadlocks and try and pick up a set of decent used 37s. Maxxis or nitto 37s are $400+ ea atm

I could also try slapping tubes in my tires but that's a lot of work for something that will only last another season or two lol

Ah, I see. Damn beadlocks are more money than i expected, then again ive never personally dealt with them for anything.

They sells tubes that work in auto tires? I used to sell tractor tubes all the time but I can't imagine them holding up to 55mph lol

Well, in it's current state I never drive above about 30 mph lol.

It would be nice to have some tires that would be even slightly streetable though lol

I bought a set in 2020 for $125 each. 285/75R16 for the 100. WM tire installation closed during Covid so they were liquidating tires for cheap. The only problem was 3 tires in the set too so much weight that the balancing machine just shut down when trying to spin the up. I guess they are ok for a crawler when balancing doesn't matter. I took them back to WM and got a refund. The wheels were new SCS F5s that have been perfect for years.
