Installed a 12v outlet in the bed for my fridge on road trips.
    Bought this kit: https://www.genesisoffroad.com/12v-power-outlet

It was about the same price as buying all the components individually and it was just the right length (barely.) I could have used an extra foot of wires to make it neatly tucked away in the engine bay. As you can see the wires are running right over the top of my fuse box but it's good enough for me.
I removed the cubby and bolted a bracket I made from aluminum to hold the outlet.

Since I stay in hotels/airbnb on road trips I figured my factory battery is good enough for running the fridge since I would bring it inside at night.

I don’t think that’s where that goes. Not an expert though. :bananadance:

I saw them on Amazon, I think they were from CPW. A few sellers have them on eBay too, there are different choices of lens and lamp color. These are black with smoked lenses.

Tossed on the RCI's. I didn't have black paint, so I had to settle for blue.

Sometimes it's worth paying someone to do a deep clean of the inside of your vehicle. That way you have more time for more mods. Kudos to a local auto detailing startup in St. Thomas Ont. They did an exceptional job.

10mm sockets and wrenches don't just have legs. They are possessed of a preternatural ability to teleport out of this material realm entirely, on nothing more than a whim.

Went and got the OTT tune-mild setting. I like it. It is a little jerky from a dead stop, or the pedal is just to stiff. Feels great once rolling though.

    @TekITGuy

Mild is easy...I started with Spicy...somewhat.

The throttle was very sensitive but when I forced the issue, the truck moved!

I'm on Lite/Mild now and am happy not to burn up too much gas! lol

love my OTT tune - mild and ECT spicy - did it about 2 months ago. first few weeks were jerky, but re-learned quickly on feel to make it move slow from dead stop (not in ECT/spicy). i did ding my garage door once in that stage trying to park where i usually do - :bikewheelie: but none the less no issues now.

went wheeling a few weeks ago and no issues on trails in 4WL - was just fine, but admittedly, was nervous I didn't have the feel yet for that.

long story short - one of my best mods. like a whole new truck. and i drive a 17, so was like why not sooner

PS - the 3rd gen is in so need of a tune, that any of the top tunes will probably feel awesome... so let's not bicker and argue about who Tuned who....

    Well, according to 4790.8D of 17 Jun 2021 that’s a D-1R check. Unless they’re in lay-up.

Oh, you’re referring to the Tacoma. Never mind. :bananadance:
