I've got triple squares and caliper presses for a vw, I don't even own one at this point!

So many bespoke tools hence the expense but you couldn't give them away. The dream is one day I have a shop and locals/friends swing by for help and I have what we need, no matter what.

I've got a quick question about safe t-caps. I've replaced my leaf spring hanger and I still don't seem to be getting the same measurements as the other side. I seem to be a little over 1/4th of an inch lower when I measure to the center of the hole from a fixed point on the frame (vertically) and then about 1/8th of an inch closer to the front of the truck. This is measuring the center of the hole once again. I do seem to have the diagonal measurement super close which I find weird. it does seem to be cupping the frame properly

I could properly throw the pin in and rachet strap it so it move back and therefore up a little. I've tried hitting it with a hammer and it won't budge.

let me know if you think that's a stupid idea

Not a bad idea: now he doesn’t have to worry about the boots ripping.

That's a tough one without knowing how things fell before. Have you bolted the axle up and measured wheelbase on both sides?

@Kwikvette are you leaning towards keeping there Cruiser, or you’re still set on getting a mini truck?

I'm not set on keeping it, but while it's in my possession I'll treat it as if I am IE take care of the valve cover gaskets, take it wheeling, etc.

I do want a mini truck instead as a dedicated toy (Tacoma or Pick Up) and the cruiser will have to go when that happens.

    And I just remembered

@eon_blue if we're gonna do a wheeling trip soon, we'll have to do two of them

Second one will be our unofficial tradition of 'last wheeling trip before the baby comes' sort of trip :burp:

Cause I'll have the F250 here, the wife's car, and she wants a new car.

I don't want 5 cars at our house and ideally would keep it at 4 max. I have 2 cars already not here, one at my aunt's garage and in her driveway.
