I dont like the colored insides of the sports

 

I'm wondering if it will be an option or come in different colors. So a grey paint with grey inside trim wouldn't be so bad. I wouldn't think all the sports would be blue only.

 

Toyota how about some pics of the Off Road. You know that truck most people will buy but Toyota is trying to steer us clear of. Let’s go. Build one and do a photo shoot.

 

They want us to buy one of the trims available now, and then off road will be available in a few years, as a trim or maybe as a package like the tundras

 

They already said they do in all the videos that all the people invited to see them posted

The plastic front air dam/spoiler is damn ugly. The blue sport exterior is cool but I don’t care for blue in the interior.

 

The CHR had a blue interior trims on all the colors looked daft.

 

The offroad was always available in the Tundra's it is one of the top selling models. They say they just didn't have one built in time for the reveal. They will deff be available this fall and next spring with the hybrid.
I know we all waiting for pricing but tbh I think the Pro will be a bit out of budget for this guy so I am waiting more for the offroad hybrid or just the normal 2.4t with the manwell

The grand highlander mpgs are out. The max is much worse than the regular hybrid and about the same as the non hybrid turbo. I assume the Tacoma will come in a bit lower than 27 mpg numbers.

 

I have not watched any videos on it ...how is the max that much worse lol

 

Gotta be because of the battery weight and all the extras inside.

 

Didn't think they used that heavy of a battery that the mpg would tank so much

 

Well plus the electric motor. It's like 650 pounds between the motor, battery, inverter, wiring.

 

Shame these modern Toyota hybrids don’t run in both a high efficiency hybrid mode and a performance hybrid mode with the flip of a switch.

I think fuel numbers are going to be closer to the tundra than the Highlander. 19-22

 

The Tundra is basically the same as a 3rd gen....I don't see them being that bad

 

I think that’s weight and wind resistance. They’d really have to aero those trucks out to get better numbers. 4 cyl Tacomas have always been gas hogs.

 

Little bit of a difference in the performance of the Highlander engines though.
