Yup, needed to check on that preload ring so I took it off the truck and used a compressor. Got it sorted out. Haven’t had issues in the past making small adjustments on the truck. Trying to get closer to 21” shock length.

anyone with the fox 2.5 Pe's worried about damaging their front reservoir knob from sway contact? especially when you folks plan on doing little off roading or rock crawling? i myself is contemplating on removing my sway in all or just before I plan on off roading. from what i see a bunch of people have already damaged the front reservoir dsc knob from hitting the sway bar

Mine has not touched at all. Make sure your sway bar is centered? Idk

I did fins and thing, hells revenge, and a whole bunch of off-roading in Colorado including Imogene. I think you have to just be aware and adjust as you go

Yea I don’t understand. Would having the resi mounted 1/2” further out (towards the tire) help? I’m running frame support brackets from backwoods adventure mods so my resi bracket sits on top of that steel bracket instead of my frame. I would think this would make it more likely to contact though and yet no issues here

Sure. Looks like in the link you provided that person has the clamps over 1” lower on the resi than I do. Some might be due to having a frame support bracket there.

I did notice the back corner on passenger side of the resi mount BRACKET has a little rub that I’ll probably try nudging the sway bar a little further passenger to fix that.

note these fit with king shock brackets but for fox I had to drill a hole where the self tapping screw goes halfway up the bracket. Probably could find another way to attach it there too but that’s how I fixed it. It seemed I didn’t need to get the hole that perfect just close

edit: looks like the frame support bracket also further spaces the sway bar down. Maybe that helps

i took pictures of how my resi’s are mounted and basically pushed all the way up. does it look like everyone else’s close to the sway bar?

I removed the sway bar and it's so much better off-road and fides just fine on road. Just remove it.

Looks about like mine. I’d say you shouldn’t have any problems. Update us if you do end up with rubbing but it looks like you got the resi up as far as it’ll go

How you liking those 2.5 Fox Elites from Accutune? I’m on the verge of a forced upgrade (stock Sport suspension has busted bushings lol)
