Shit, we're supposed to clean the truck?

 

Got a bunch of rusted and worn out suspension parts replaced on the 4Runner in one day at Sumin. Would've taken me multiple weekends to do it all myself.

Springs and shocks replaced with Kijiji 2022 OEM takeoffs
Sway bar links replaced with my Tacoma's OEM takeoffs
Moog K500417 lower ball joints
Mevotech MES80895 outer tie rod ends

$38 Energy Suspension - 8.9104G REAR BUMP STOPS

Energy Susp 8.9104G urethane bumpstops - these are a good value for $50 and feel cushy

 

Did you get it detailed or did you go through the convyor? Never, not once, have i seen a vehicle leave there looking bad

 

Got it detailed. Looks like new again.

One of my right rear shock's resi clamps broke in Ardbeg. Removed the resi bracket to clean up the area and replace the clamp. There is no rust on the frame, but a lot of dirt buildup from the Fluid Film sprayed during the original install 4 years ago:



The local hardware stores don't carry the #36 (46-70mm) clamp. I used #48 (65-89mm) stainless clamps and trimmed the excess. Installed with Cosmoline:

Not really. I was the only Taco there and there was a 4Runner as well.

I dont think there was too much buzz (if at all) about the TMMC meet up. Heck i bumped into the Jeep-driving UJT member and not even she knew about the TMMC show and shine

 

Yes the turnout was good. Lots of new and old variety and even a few exotics so it was worth it to go and I got a dash plaque.

Rich (19Canuck) and I were there.

I didn't take any pictures. TCI sent that 4runner, the RZ electric car and the Corolla GT. There was a Lambo and a McLaren there, bunch of tuners and the usual oldies.
