    Took the truck out in the dirt this morning for an hour of wheeling... I think it just has a bad case of pavementitis. not once did I hear my mystery noise when I was off road... As soon as we got back on pavement... well it came back. WTF!

    I’ll be curious if the rumors come true with a more budget cast portal box that brings the price down. From my understanding on them, all the boxes are basically the same internally whether it’s for JL/Bronco/Tacoma and then adapted to the axle/control arms.

    Pretty much, you only need to make sure it mounts up to the aforementioned manufacturer axle/hub.

    Bit of maintenance and learning involved but man if I had cash I would definitely have at least one vehicle with portals just for fun.
