    It's been about 1k miles since I refreshed all the suspension. The missus has told me that as it's been broken in, it feels great on big woooppity wooos in the road, but small deep potholes are harsher.

    Is that because I have 881s on the front end of a 4cyl with stock bumper? Do I need to wait more miles till it's actually broken in? Or is it because it was designed for aussie outback driving and I'm just going too slow over bumps cause I'm a granpa?

    Can I bring it back in a few years right before it falls apart?

    I think the 882s and 881s just ride awful without a V6, heavy skid, winch, bumper, and ~10K miles to break in.

    Just my personal opinion. I’d only think 883s are necessary with an engine swap or giant winch and overbuilt skids/bumper.

    Mine is real hard on small bumps too but plush on those big speed bumps and humps. She hasn't seen off road yet. :(

    That's pretty ambitious! :rofl::rofl:

    I don't know for sure what the stock spring rating is, but the 881s are 500# and I'm fairly certain that is higher than stock.

    Cooled down hit the road, made it maybe 15 mins south of baker before I pegged 240 degrees. Thank goodness for AAA 200 mile tow

    Could this be more than a coolant temp sensor?

    Yea :(

    Did you notice any lil white puffs of smoke out the tailpipe? The lean code in cyl whatever could possibly be burning coolant

    Hopefully not that at all ugh

    Can’t really say I was looking. Dark highway I was just focused on dead ahead. Didn’t noticed anything earlier today though
    Yea… that being said it’s a random cheap Bluetooth one. But ya hit 240 then pulled off the next exit and shut her off

    Was thinking of selling the truck after this trip too :anonymous:
