Have a 2023 Tacoma off road on order. This will be my first use of the bed power
outlet. My previous Tacoma was a 2012.

I want to buy one of the plug in camping coolers.

Will install a extra battery in the bed to power the cooler when in camp.

I think I would like to charge the battery off the bed outlet via a 110 volt bed charger then
    switch to solar in camp.

Or is it better to run the cooler off the bed outlet while driving and only connect
to the battery while in camp. Either way I think a battery charger that works with the
bed outlet would be nice to have.

Would appreciate recommendations on what charger to buy to hook up to the
bed outlet when driving. recommendations on coolers also appreciated.

Planning on a Renogy Solar Kit while at camp.

I mount a Noco Genius 2D on all my vehicles so I can plug up anywhere, anytime to maintain/tend my battery. One of the best products out there for under $50 imo.

    that's a good price.

drawback is chargers take a long time.
I wonder if there's a way to feed off a 100w solar panel into that, or adapter.
Because that's one thing I have always pulling in energy, on the roof, without a cable plugged into a wall.
And MC4 connectors ran into the bed, that I think I spliced to XT60/i

Chargers and tenders are supposed to take a long time. If you have 120VAC available it's a great option. If you want to use solar you need a different setup.
