Just enjoy being able to give them a bath wherever you want while you can, we're at the stage where bathing involves a ton of pleading and bartering haha

Imagine having to buy tons of Target gift cards (loaded with $1s or $5s) to get your kid to bathe :bananadead:

Two Disco IIs on CL right now at $3K and $4K. Hard not to scratch my masochistic itch. Even with CELs on the dash, because of course they are, "running well," or not, they tempt.
One is my favorite color combo too, green over tan.
Probably good I'm not drinking this weekend lol

Retired guys running their own garage sales are the best. They just want shit gone and they might even crack a beer with you.

    Stuff. Also things.
Suck to hear about the ongoing fight with the insurance company. It’s amazing how much pushback and resistance you get from a company that you pay good money to on the regular…

Pole Hill is one of my favorites, especially for the killer views up on top. The climb up can be a little spicy too or not depending on how you want to roll. But certainly not hardcore wheeling. There’s also Johnny Park road from 36 to 7, which is super pretty and also low key. I’m sure it’s all pretty douched up with UTVs and their smooth brain occupants these days, but that’s just the new reality, sadly.

The office (closet?) turned out so good! Thanks for asking haha. I’m currently in the process of designing some desks, end tables and a bookshelf that I want to make from rectangular mild steel. I figure if I flap disk it, clear coat it, and then use some nice acacia butcher block for the surfaces, it’ll look really nice :D

They need to put an image of one of these next to the definition of masochism in the dictionary

Local Buy Nothing/freebie groups on FB have a lot of good stuff too, same reason.... people just want whatever it is gone. We find good stuff on there and give away a lot of stuff ourselves. Unless it has real $ value to me I'd just rather not deal with the headache of trying to sell random stuff, easier to just say come and get it

But you have to be quick on those groups or the good stuff goes fast

Yep, being speedy is so key.

This guy was having a garage sale behind his duplex, and was just trying to clear stuff out. Life was changing, he needed to take care of his mom with dementia, and needed to make space. At the same time he wanted stuff to go to a good home. When the gf and I rolled up and started talking house renovation he kept knocking prices down to get us to take stuff.

I've gotten a ton of tools from guys like that via Craigslist. A few times I've gone for something smallish and driven away hours later with a truckload of tools, lumber, etc. I always bring extra cash, but a big part of the deal is listening to their stories.

Monica is about to change her for a beach day. We are going to head over Round Hill.
Is Theo sleeping though the night yet? We are starting to get solid sleep from 11pm to 5am

For sure. We were about 80% loaded up when he asked if we wanted a beer. Stood there for a good 15 min talking about life after that.

    Nice

We got a beach day coming up and we're taking Theo

He sleeps well every night; I mean even when I feed him he eats while he sleeps and I can lay him back down without him waking up.

Usually starts at around 9-10pm and ventures on to 5-6am.

they look really weird stock to me. Like a an off-road version of a Honda Element

But built up they do look good, if I had the money I would find a manual 4wd one with the manual tcase
