    I still go back to the oft told story of grandad's 79 Bronco. Beautiful emerald green monster of a truck.

    When he posted it for sale for 5k, (20 something years ago) I begged him for it. He said "you can't afford it." I replied that I could have the cash by the weekend. He stopped, turned, and looked me dead in the eyes.

    "No, son. I have no doubts that you are capable of buying it. But you can't afford it. Between gas, parts, and chasing the rust, if you owned it, not only will it fall to dust, but you'll never be able to buy your first house."


    ... He was right.

    All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
    I also sold my Bronco and ended up with a yota. Trouble free maintenance.
