Grass did need it. Low areas it was thick.
Wife got an email about the power being out.
Mosquitoes were terrible at in-laws up by Prentice.
Up in Minnesota the mosquitoes weren't to bad.

Thanks on the good wishes. No need to dye the very little bit of hair that I have… Now if I grew a beard, that would be a different story.

It’s 55F on June 4th. What in tarnation?!

 

Hope it warms up a little for you. Was only supposed to be 75ish here today.... felt hotter than that in the sunlight. Not complaining since it could be well over 90*

 

Well 18 more calendar days until school is out for the year. 26 more calendar days until vacation. We were able to get a campsite for the weekend at a popular destination along the Hood Canal for the 23rd - 25th. It will be our 38th wedding anniversary celebration. So we are in the process of making simple improvements to our trailer. First up turn the full size tip out into a king size bed. Our Stansport folding cot with a 4.5” self inflating mattress is a perfect fit. Small table and collapsible storage cubes will double as storage and seating around our nice lightweight aluminum table. Can’t wait to try it out.

This is the first spring I remember recently it normally jumps straight to 90.

 

Beautiful day in Roscoe today mild temperatures a little windy and I stopped into the fly shop in the wrong order. I should have gone before the river but I was just doing a scout and then I saw the river. And before you know it I’m standing in it.
The critter caught something though!

Good evening everyone. The time just flies by when all you have is a Saturday and Sunday to knock out a huge list of chores. I got the front diffy swapped out on the GMC on Saturday afternoon and stopped there. I need to get either another used CV axle and re-boot a pair of used ones or cry and spend another $250 for new ones from Napper.

I've been going at the wood pile every night for the past week, getting the big ( 3'Ø ) rounds knocked down into small enough pieces to stack in the woodshed. I'm so far behind schedule, I needed to have these split up and drying 2 months ago. Luckily, most of them are pretty dry ( standing dead tree). My lower spine isn't happy with the decision to swing the 20# sledge to drive a few wedges into the wood.

Cutting my grass for the first time in 13 days later this morning. Good morning to all. Happy Monday.

 

47 degrees right now. When I start cutting my grass in a few hours, I might not even break a sweat.
