I had been asked if I could drill out certain parts; I didn't want to partake in manufacturing in any way so I said no.

Only way someone in CA could own one is being an LLC with a specific permit and it must be used in a specific manner, or if you are a manufacturer or some stupid shit.

Basically illegal for 99.99% of anyone here.

My suppressors are on our trust and that's how I learned years back about also putting property like a house and all that. My dad's smart about all that sort of shit that I wouldn't have thought of.

The LR4 has the 5.0 we have in our Range Rover. The motors have timing chain guide issues (ours doesn't make noise so fingers crossed) and the cooling system is known to fail. We had it rebuilt on ours as a preventative measure, $3500. The problem is that if it bursts and you overheat it, shops like the one I went to won't touch it. The block and heads warp, a new head gasket won't last long. The shop I used told me if it overheats, it's a new motor, bar none. The coolant parts are in short supply and took a couple weeks for the shop to acquire all of them (upgraded design by LR). Timing chain guides is a spendy fix, book time is 44hours. So just know what you are getting into .. but the trucks are solid, comfortable and very capable. The experience is worth it if you can handle the annual big bills that will come along with ownership of one of them. My perspective is, it was $80k new, so the repairs reflect that, but price of entry is so cheap, it's still a great buy.

My god, I gave Dex a non rawhide bacon flavored bone as a treat that he spent hours today chewing on until he devoured it. Now he's got Defcon 1 level nuclear smelling farts, like melting the fucking paint off the walls kind of bad. Holy shit

That's the worst. I went strictly to Nylabones (bacon flavored) or cow bones for that reason. No rawhide or other chewy bones any more.

I give mine the nylabones in moderation since thats how she cracked a molar and drained the bank account earlier this year. Not the super hard ones anymore either.

Yeah I avoided the raw hide as well, this one was non rawhide. I read that with bigger dogs it has more risks than benefit. I just need to figure out how to section it out for him, a whole one did not do his digestive system any good lol

Wow that's crazy, my Chocolate lab has been chewing on them for years. They are the only things that last. I can't do hooves or anything like that they smell so bad

Ill do the odor free natural bully sticks every now and then. Theyre super expensive and dont last very long, so its more of a treat. But no rawhide or rawhide alternative since those give her the runs.
