So we would also need a stock switch? This is just the board?

Correct. So long as your switch is the original one that came with the truck you are all set. 2012-2015 had switches that did not allow light to pass through so there was nothing to light up. Check out the pdf in the first post in the thread and you will have the installation instructions and more pictures that should explain how the board works to light up the switch.

Yeah, read it. I’ll go hunt for cheap switches I guess. My 2wd doesn’t have one. Hah.

I could do a lead off the HVAC conversion harness for this.

Who did the board? Anyone who might have access to the ‘05 temp potentiometer? I’d like a clean swap to get temp correct but don’t want to destroy my stock one since it’s a good backup.

Here is a link to the original thread and the OP of that thread is the owner, developer and builder of the board. I am just the front man for organizing and pushing the group buy along because selfishly, I want one on my 2009 Tacoma I inherited from my Dad. You might want to start a conversation in order to get all your questions answered.

I have posted it in the "What did you do to your 2nd Gen Today" thread several times. I am averaging about once every 10 days. I want to make people aware the group buy exists without overstaying my welcome in the thread. Feel free to post it in any active threads you like. The wider the reach the more likely it will be that people sign up.
