I've come to love the light clicking I get in the rear; sounds like a high-end +90 tooth ratchet every time I back up and turn

Maybe if it was a dedicated mud truck lol. @Kwikvette i see what you mean about not liking mud. It got everywhere and it was just a little one.

@CS_AR im definitely gonna keep taking every bypass I can on trails. It was good as a test tho just to see if o could get through it.

That's only when their ARB compressor is working 100% of the time, which it doesn't :bananadead:

It seems like the intake is well designed to keep water and gunk out. Has anyone flooded one of these trucks? It seems pretty hard to do in stock form.

Yeah really I need to buy one of those lawn watering sprinklers with the rotating tube or whatever and throw it under the rig next mud run.

I use a pressure washer up close cause I had no patience.

That is a good point lol, I guess I'm too used to i25 and i70 chaos. Sometimes finding room at a gas station with my 18 foot trailer is stressful enough

I pressure washed it but I didn’t put the nozzle right up to the frame to avoid taking any paint off. Idk if that’s actually possible u less it’s a gas powered washer tho.

It's pretty high up yeah. As long as you keep your fender liners on (or the one on the intake side) it's pretty hard to do unless you stop dead in deep water. With the liner off the intake is well exposed to all the water coming up into the wheel well.

I agree. They have it at my local ace. I also noticed they the products ace has vs what Lowes has seam to be a little higher quality.

As for the bypasses, I've seen some trail videos of the stuff he's run.

Your rig should do 95% of what he's posted before if you have someone guide you to take the right line (and not use a bypass).

You need to stop doubting the trucks capabilities.

I always pressure wash up close, and it's high powered.

You ain't gonna pull paint off.

If you do, rattle can that small part.

Speaking of winches- are there any serious downsides to receiver hitch mounted ones?

Yea I’d just be concerned about going solo sometimes if I misjudge a boghole.

It puts it further in front of the truck and places more leverage on the frame if you're not winching square angle
