I am also having the same "thunk" sound on this Eibach Stage 2 kit on my 2018 TRD Off Road 4x4. The noise started right after the install. I hope Eibach finds a solution because these issues are not normal, specially since its happening to so many members here.

You are located pretty close to @mark@eibach and I think they were still looking for a 3rd gen with this issue to take a look at, possibly fix and get new parts. Consideration?

Does this seem to be happening with the older version mostly?

This looks awesome! Nice work. Do you have the CMC done as well? I've been looking at this kit + aal and 285's. Just curious as to what all is required to run 285's.

FYI. I have this kit with icon rxt rear leafpack. Running 285’s. Zero rub on zero offset wheels 17x8.5.
I only lifted it about 2.25” in the front as well

Not sure. That first pic is of mine, and I dont have the issue. I think those stickers denote the stage 2 vs the stage 2R kits.

Nice! This is what I'm looking for. Did you do the CMC? I have fifteen 52 16x8 zero off set as well. I'm looking at doing this kit with Icon 1.5" aal and Dirt King upper control arms. Did you have to add a diff drop kit?

At this moment i have a tiny bit of rubbing on my cab mount at full lock. I am going to get an alignment done Wed, so im hoping that will get it away from the cab mount a little more. I am.gonna get a cmc just for peace of mind. Normal driving i will probably be fine, but im sure off road ill hit the cab mount at certain points. You gonna go wit aftermarket uca, or keep stock? Ill let you know my clearance on the cab mount after i get my alignment done

Did you adjust your coilovers, or did you get 2.25" of lift out of the box? I was surprised that i got almost 3" out of the box without any adjustments

Not sure if the different stickers denote a newer version or not. I have the stage 2 front and 2R rear, but i actually bought the fronts and rears seperate because the full kit together was sold out. I have the newer looking stickers on mine, so i didn't buy it as a 2.0/R kit together

I did not cut anything. I did remove the front tufskinz mud flaps but otherwise clear. I adjusted the coil overs 100x until I got them just right

my wheels are wider than yours. You should be fine. Bfg and toyo run smaller than 32.7. Some tires run “true size” I believe. My BFG’s run 32” installed and clear fine

Forgot…. Out of the box mine were 1.75” lift. After all adjustments I had to raise the setting on the drivers side higher than the passenger.

Yea, i was surprised to get around 3" right out of the box. I actually went with a 1/4 spacer on the driver side for the taco lean instead of adjusting, that way i have the same amount of travel on both sides... that 1/4" spacer made both sides perfectly level without adjustment of the coilover

In hindsight I would have not bought these. Same issues as everyone else, clunkalicious, and they look like ass from the brushed aluminum pitting heavily after only a year of exposure.

Thanks for the reply. This is helpful. Yeah, I'm going with Dirt King usa's. Did you have to use a diff drop kit?

Thanks! This is definitely helpful. I'm running BFG AT's now and plan on running them when I jump to 285's.

I didn't have to use a diff drop, but i did add it. I know there's a bunch of people who will say you don't need it, and your cv's will be fine, but it definitely puts the cv at an angle closer to stock so that's why i did it

Thanks for the feedback. Yeah, that's what I was thinking. Why risk it, the added cost is so minimal. This definitely helps with my future build. I'm running Fox 2.0's right now and there's not much room for adjustment. It's pretty much a leveling kit.
