We'll be screwing around Friday and Saturday. Probably leave camp around 9am, if you want to meet us there in the morning.

Looking forward to having you along!

Haha! So glad we could help. :D

That's what I'm here for, the mods and the gear.
Same. I was content with my stock truck but then I joined this group and I needed to add mods. :D Of course, this ranged from subtle aesthetics (shaka on the grill) to wheels and tires to armor.

I checked out a spot recommended by @Peeing on jeeps yesterday "on my way" to Bear Creek. Winding gravel road with side trails. Could be worth checking out this coming weekend. :notsure:

I had to try out one of the side trails. :D

Getting sick of work today and decided to take 1/2 day on Friday. Depending how long I lollygag here at home, should be up at camp sometime early evening. It even looks like we have a slight chance of rain on Saturday which means of course it's an official TW get-together now!

Note to self (and others): Based on what everyone is saying in the other b.s. thread about skeeters being bad this year, and knowing ticks are out in force too, be sure to load up on bug spray, permethrin, and if you have a head net it probably isn't a bad idea to bring with. Last year was my first time joining along and they were ravenous, I can only imagine this time it will be even worse.

^This, usually doesn't take too long. Sawyer makes the stuff you can buy just about anywhere for about $9 and it works well. Don't forget to treat your socks and undies too. Don't spray it indoors if you have pets or kids (especially pets, I think it's pretty deadly for cats).

+1 on the Sawyer. That stuff flat out works. I think I've got 2 bottles in the basement. Thanks for the reminder.

Whoever is coming this weekend, if you haven't already, just let us know when you expect to arrive, and I'm curious who's tent camping, truck camping, etc.

I'm pretty sure we're going to want to grab that other site next door. That one seems to have more space for tents.

Coming up on Friday night, ETA hopefully before 6pm but I usually find some way to get sidetracked. Camping in the truck. And yeah good call on also getting the other side we will probably need it if more than 6-7 people camp.

Edit: maybe add poll options to see how many are camping each night?

@Thatbassguy are we able to go to Winch Rock? Or is that on the now forbidden trail?

Sounds like @rubbersidedown and I will be up on Friday morning. Probably meet up with you guys on the trails like last year.
I will be truck camping in the bedrack bedroom.

    Sadly, that's on 55552.

I'm hoping to do some scouting on Thursday, and I'll try to find a good mud pit for you. ;)

Seriously, though, I'll see if I can find some challenging spots that aren't off limits.
