I almost bought a Tacoma from them. Then Scott Clark in Charlotte gave me a sweeter deal and I had to go with them.

 

Anybody local added homelink to a third Gen yet?

 

It should be standard by now. There’s a guy in the classifieds who sells an oem mirror with it if yours doesn’t have.

I'd like to have seen the trailhunter as a single cab short bed with in-cab storage behind seats ( old s-10 with no suicide doors)

 

The new 4th gen (specifially the pro and trailhunter) is a massive disapointment.

Wider fenders and negative offset wheels making it 3" wider? disgusting compared to the colorado and ranger raptor who actually have long travel components making them wider.

 

The engine specs are wild with that hybrid assist. And I'm not mad at the Pro, I think it looks pretty good. 33”a from the factory is a good thing too, it's about time.

 

the power bump is much needed. But to charge (im guessing) 60-70K for a midsize non longtravel with suspension in the seats is gimmicky lol

 

Isn't on an 18 inch wheel though? I feel like 33s on a 17 inch sidewall looks like a little small. Heck on my 16 inch wheel I feel it looks normal. If I were to have an 18 inch wheel I'd want a massive sidewall like a 38 or something. I really hate big wheels. I also agree shocks in the seat is gimmicky. They could give us better actual shocks and something like hammer hangers with leaf springs. I'm still in the camp of I like leafs on a truck and brakes shoes in the rear. I also really hate the huge screen sticking up above the dash. I know a lot of cars are doing it but it looks so out of place.

 

Heck I'm still modding my 2015 I haven't even made it to a 3rd gen yet.. I'll die before touching a 4th gen.. but I'd definitely take a trd off-road and throw on the pro grille

 

Yeah I LOVE my 2nd gen. I hope it will last me forever. If I have to buy a third gen someday I will. But I REALLY hope I'm dead before before it comes down to having to buy a fourth gen. If money wasn't an issue I probally wouldn't own anything newer than a 60 series land cruiser. Haha

 

Yeah, I'm not getting one. Still think they did a decent job with them, tech and listening to the after market community. I hope my FJC and 2nd gen outlast me.
