Today's trailer project was to build a drawer system for storage.

But I hate woodworking! So it was a hard fought battle.

Almost ready to try it all out. Just have to figure out how to get the tent moved over to the trailer...

Not sure yet. Need to just hook it up and go for a short 5 mile drive to see how that goes to start. Knowing how things go for me I will likely be coming back after that to redo a bunch...

Who knows... I did make my own axle and I was responsible for setting up every aspect of the suspension... so that means there are several variables that could lead to bad things going on while rolling down the road!

As long as Jeff wasn’t lurking around to prank you, you’ll be fine.

Took the trailer out this past weekend for its maiden voyage. Pulled very well down the road as well as on the trail. Didn't do anything crazy, just went to flagpole and left out by Switzer Lake.

Solar panel kept the trailer battery charged and that kept the fridge charged... so I guess it all works like it was intended to.

It really is, but honestly has no business going on the trails... every time he takes it out on a trail something gets broken... it makes me cringe and feel bad, but he keeps bringing it out. So I guess if he is OK with it I shouldn't care. As it is his camper and not mine.

Worked on the trailer a little bit this past weekend and today.

Built a swingout for the spare...

Wanted more wash water capacity and needed to offset the added weight of the spare and swingout, so I built a couple jerry can holders...

Then welded them on in front of the fenders.

Now I just need to get 2 more jerry cans!
