I've been keeping a spreadsheet on the Grom. I like knowing how much I've put into things.

Holy shit man. My deepest condolences. Glad to hear you guys got to spend a bunch of extra time together. I'm sure she appreciated that immensely.

My wife doesn't care.. probably because we keep finances separate except for house stuff.

One good reason to keep that list with pricing is for insurance purposes. When my first FJR1300 got hit I had a list of accessories with brands and most prices. Definitely helped me get more money from the insurance.

Thank you. She was always stoked when I got home from work. Wanted attention right away, but then would be content to just be near. It's a very stark absence now.

Replacement Puig windscreen arrived and it has the same defect as the first one :annoyed: must be a defect with the mold. One side is curved while the other is flat.

Always tell the girlfriend if you’re not married yet, boys.

If she has issue with how you spend your money figure out if she’s genuinely helping you be responsible (for you) or selfishly trying to funnel it to her (for her).

    Keep or discard accordingly :)

Anyone else here riding a big single cylinder and getting their hand vibrated to shit? Lately my right thumb and index finger will start feeling numb after a while. I have a relaxed grip on the bars and vary position as much as I can. Not sure if it could be a nerve/circulation issue or more just the nature of this bike. Maybe different grips and bars would help?

    Try heavy bar end weights.

Thanks I'll give them a shot. Wanted to retain the handguards but will ditch them if that solves the issue.

Other idea I had is to buy another bike... think I'll be doing that regardless :D

You could also try Grip Puppies. They're a foamy sort of sleeve that just slides over the factory grips. I use them on the FJR just to make the grip a little fatter. They will help with vibration a little too.
