Loosened lugs then drove around neighborhood. No luck

However back and forth applying the brake allowed a pop to the front. Still cannot budge the front. Shot some pb on everything and will try again tomorrow

Yes I own a deadblow and that didn’t work last week.

Out of curiosity, how long have the wheels been on the truck? Have you ever removed them before?

How loose did you have the lug nuts, they should be backed off pretty far so the wheel has space to break off the hub.

Crack the lug nuts slightly loose. Hit the gas and then brake hard all within 20-50 ft (driveway if you can). After a few tries it should pop. Put neversieze on the hub before you reinstall. Good luck.

Probably been 1 year honestly since I rotated them. I don’t put a ton of miles on the truck. The truck sees sunny warm days and heavy rain being in florida.
Lug nuts were very loose so I allowed plenty of room for the rim to pop off the center hub

Many years ago, I used to work at a garage and we had this issue. We put the car on the lift, loosened the lug nuts, got the car up to 40 and slammed on the brakes. Wheels popped off after a couple of hits. Try on Jack stands if all else fails.

Edit: you may damage the wheel studs doing this. Look closely at the threads for damage.

The heat isn't going into the tires. I'm just talking about removing the center cap and getting some heat on the hub center. But they're nice wheels, it's not really a good idea

Small lift, slightly oversized tires, well...
Hitting the sidewall with a sledge risks damaging the sidewall. I wouldn't do the heat thing either. Loose lugnuts sounds sketchy AF.

What I've had luck with in the past is sitting on the ground and kicking the outer edge of the rim, one side then the other. Rotate the wheel if needed. It usually only took a couple of kicks.

Use a ratchet strap to strap a piece of 2x4 to the rim. Through the spokes.
The longer the 2x4 the better. Then pry the rim off. Just like a breaker bar.
If you have buddy to help, have him hit the rim with a hammer to help “shock it” loose.

That's exactly how you pyrolyse the tire - by heating the wheel, you create a powerful explosion

I didn't realize how dangerous that is before either

Then let the f--kin air out of the tires :notsure:

I dunno, I'm just throwing ideas out. If I got some stubborn metal at work I use the torch all the time with great results

Can't be anymore dangerous than these guys saying to loosen the lugnuts and drive around hitting the brakes

    I’m with you man.
The way I see it, the wheel is stuck.
The wheel needs to come off.
So, try things until the wheel comes off. And I’ll be the first to say, Trying “dangerous” things is certainly an option.
I’ve done lots of dangerous things to get a job done. Sometimes it works, other times it doesn’t.

If I were OP, I would get the wheel off sooner than later.
At some point the tire will need changed, or brakes…..ect.
Cosmetic damage or not, I’m getting that wheel off.
Better to get it off now than wait until it “has to” come off.

Try taking the centercaps off if possible and if thats not an option youll have to go from the back side of the wheel and maybe also in through each lug hole. Spray a generous amount PB Blaster or Open&Shut in there let it sit for a few min and go around the inner wheel/tire with a block & sledge. Give it a go a few times and if that fails, mule kick…

Apply anti-seize to the hubs, clean the wheels, & reassemble.

I purchased my truck when I lived in FL and had the same issue with all four wheels. Seems the previous owner drove it on the beach and the salt water "welded" the aluminum wheels to the steel hub. A couple of wheels broke free after a lot of beating with a dead blow, but it took a couple of days for the other two....spraying them with everything imaginable and letting it soak for hours. I used a large hammer with 2x4's against the rims and they finally broke free. Afterwards, I used a wire brush grinder to clean the corrosion from the back of the wheels and the hubs and put anti-seize on them. Never had another issue. I actually just replaced them with new wheels a couple of months ago. Good luck!

I had the same issue on my FJ cruiser.
Bolts sized had to use a breaker bar and a 6ft pipe to get it in done.

Then the rim was sized to the hub/axel whatever.

Had to use penetrating fluid on the 0.0001mm gap, hitting it with said pipe, then gently lowering the jack where some of the car weight pushed the wheel out and unsized itself

Heating a rim with a tire mounted is EXTREMELY dangerous

"Under no circumstances should a rim be heated while the tire is still mounted, such as by welding or the use of cutting torches, or any other procedure that would cause extreme heat. The tire must be removed from the rim before this type of work is conducted."

    https://www.ontario.ca/page/alert-tire-explosion-pyrolysis

By heating the rim you are essentially creating a bomb that can explode either immediately, or for hours later

At first read I had to check what day it was, to make sure yesterday wasn’t Friday.

but after reading the whole thread, I was thinking “oh yes… aluminum on steel, what a pain”

    pinstripes. lots of pinstripes.
You just need the lug nuts a thread or two loose - not completely off - if you're trying to drive it to loosen it.

Mark all 4 tires with chalk design, bolt all back on, drive to your nearest shop and let them do it. Confirm chalk designs moved after to make sure they did actually rotate them lol
